Florida Basic Driver Improvement Course (BDI) – 4 hours
If you are found guilty of a moving violation, points will be added to your driving record. Accumulating too many points can result in the suspension of your driver’s license. However, many people are unaware that they can prevent this by voluntarily enrolling in our 4-hour Basic Driver Improvement (BDI) course, also known as Florida traffic school. To take advantage of this option, you must notify the court of your intent to take the BDI course before registering. After successfully completing the course, submit your completion certificate to the court or the appropriate authority before any applicable deadlines to avoid having points assessed on your record.
